The foundation's capital amounted to CHF 6.5 million at the end of 2024.

Flow and use of funds from 1977 to 2024: In this period the R. Geigy Foundation supported the Swiss TPH with a total of CHF 41,077,123.20.
In the financial year 2024, RGS supported Swiss TPH with a total of CHF 1,502,082.15.
From this,

CHF 329,000 (21.9%) invested in research,

CHF 247,252 (16.5%) was invested in the training and further education of employees, as well as symposia and awards.

CHF 675,829 (44.9%) into infrastructure and CHF 250,000 (16.6%) into strategic contributions.
Impact
The R. Geigy Foundation is dedicated to fighting neglected diseases as well as to empower neglected people and systems.
The R. Geigy Foundation shares the principle that things can only be changed together.
With the «R. Geigy Advancement Award», it therefore supports the careers of young scientists at the Swiss TPH who contribute to better health under sometimes difficult political and social conditions.
